About Us
Founded in 2023, the South Dallas Driving Academy is a workforce development nonprofit eliminating a persistent systemic barrier for underserved communities: access to a driver’s license.
SDDA offers a no-cost, dual-pathway program for South Dallas residents ages 18-24 to obtain their driver's license and prepare for careers in transportation. Our program is the only one of its kind in the region and plays a vital role in creating equity and economic opportunity for Bonton and South Dallas.
