Germany Williams
● Raised in the Bonton neighborhood of South Dallas.
● Alumnus of BridgeBuilders’ Student Program.
● Earned his Texas driver’s license at 19 and CDL at 21.
● Has 9 years of professional truck driving experience.
● Serves as a trusted mentor to SDDA participants and alumni.
● In 2025, promoted to Driver Trainer at Covenant Transport, one of SDDA’s employment partners.
His first trainee at Covenant Transport was River Dollak, an SDDA alumnus—evidence of the ripple effect of mentorship and career pathways within SDDA’s program.
Norvel Dumas
● Obtained his Texas driver’s license in October 2023 through SDDA’s Accelerated Driver’s License Program.
● Earned his CDL in July 2024 as part of SDDA’s first Commercial Driver’s License Program cohort.
● Hired in October 2024 by PepsiCo FritoLay, one of SDDA’s employment partners.
Anthony “Nook” Reese
● Raised in the Bonton neighborhood of South Dallas.
● Earned his CDL in July 2024 as part of SDDA’s first Commercial Driver’s License Program cohort.
● Hired in October 2024 by PepsiCo FritoLay, one of SDDA’s employment partners.
Building a strong foundation in his trucking career and inspiring others from Bonton to pursue their own paths in the industry.
Danny George
● Raised in the Bonton neighborhood of South Dallas.
● Served his community for 9 years as a consistent and caring employee of Bonton Farms, one of SDDA’s nonprofit partners.
● Earned his CDL in July 2024 as part of SDDA’s first Commercial Driver’s License Program cohort.
SDDA’s first graduate hired by the City of Dallas, serving as a Maintenance Worker II – Floodway in Water Utilities.
Josten Hammons
● Earned his CDL in July 2024 as part of SDDA’s first Commercial Driver’s License Program cohort.
● In June 2025, hired by the City of Dallas Water Utilities as a Water Meter Reader.
Clarence Hutchins (Hutch)
● First City of Dallas employee referred to SDDA’s CDL Program through the City’s partnership with SDDA.
● Earned his CDL in July 2024 as part of SDDA’s first Commercial Driver’s License Program cohort.
● Received a promotion and salary increase from the City of Dallas on the day of his CDL Program graduation in July 2024.
River Dollak
● Graduated from Cornerstone Crossroads Academy, one of SDDA’s nonprofit partners.
● Earned his Texas driver’s license through SDDA’s Accelerated Driver’s License Program while at Cornerstone Crossroads Academy.
● Completed SDDA’s Commercial Driver’s License Program in December 2024.
● In March 2025, hired by Covenant Transport and trained by SDDA’s first professional driver, Germany Williams.
Andrew Taylor
● Earned his CDL in May 2025 through SDDA’s Commercial Driver’s License Program.
● In August 2025, hired as an Entry-Level Driver at PFG.
Referred to SDDA’s Commercial Driver’s License Program after graduating the apprenticeship program at Bonton Farms, a nonprofit partner of SDDA.
Dante Bunton
● Earned his CDL in May 2025 through SDDA’s Commercial Driver’s License Program.
● In July 2025, hired as a Professional Driver at CFI.
Travis Williams
● Raised in the Bonton neighborhood of South Dallas.
● Earned his Texas driver’s license through SDDA’s Accelerated Driver’s License Program.
● Completed SDDA’s Commercial Driver’s License Program in August 2025.
● In August 2025, hired by Covenant Transport.
Brother to Germany Williams, whose support and example fueled his journey.
